Transitioning From Your Day Job to Freelancing

Learn from fellow media professionals who left, voluntarily or involuntarily, their traditional day jobs and started their own businesses.

Atticus Rominger, Kate Darden, and Cary Estes join Andre Natta, moderator, to discuss how they successfully went from day jobs to being on their own. Bring your questions and notebooks–this is sure to generate a lot of useful information. (Also bring your appetite–lunch is included!)

We’ll have four-person table discussions on how you would fix problems in your industry, whether it’s marketing, print journalism, TV news or anything else. Share, learn and take away some ideas for your boss.

Preview – September event

Our Sept. 15 MOB event will be “If You Were in Their Shoes.” We’ll have four-person table discussions on how you would fix problems in your industry, whether it’s marketing, print journalism, TV news or anything else.
