Media of Birmingham’s February event will focus on the nuts and bolts of creating video for your website or blog. Our speakers, Dennis Pillion and Matt Cuthbert, both use video frequently on AL.com. You will enjoy learning how to shoot, upload, and promote video that will spice up your website immediately.
Dennis Pillion has been a sports producer for AL.com since April 2007.  He has covered everything from the BCS National Championship to NBA games. Matt Cuthbert has been with AL.com since 1998 and he is currently working as a senior producer. He manages AL.com’s community blogs and their outside media affiliations.

Our panel of experts include Ruwena Healy, Matt Havard, and Ralph Summerford. Ruwena, President of Marketing 24/7, is the go to person in Birmingham for personal branding. Matt, Manager of Recruitment and Training at the Birmingham News, will share his insights from the perspective of a larger, more traditional media company. And Ralph, President of Forensic/ Strategic Solutions, serves as a shining example of successful personal branding.
